A National Association of Realtors survey shows that 80% of those surveyed believe that buying a home is a good financial decision. This is up by 8 points from 2011. Further, 49% believe prices in their neighborhood are more expensive than they were last year. Not only are attitudes about housing improving, but Americans are also less concerned about their job security. Concern over foreclosures has eased as well. There’s nothing like having that glass half-full! The Las Vegas luxury home and the Henderson luxury home markets are both seeing renewed buyer optimism that mirror these surveys. In Las Vegas, 100% of the people should know there home is very likely worth more than last year!
