Maximize closet space. Pack away items that can be stored elsewhere.

Update walls. Rearrange or take down pictures, and patch and paint if necessary.

Address repairs. Fix issues like doorknobs, faucets, and moldings.

Enhance lighting. Open drapes and leave lights and lamps on during showings.

Set a pleasant ambiance. Keep the music on during the day and for showings.

Start with the lawn. Fertilize if needed, and keep it mowed, edged, and watered.

Trim bushes and plants. Ensure they don’t block windows. Weed and clear planting areas.
